Bruichladdich Launches Octomore 14 Series
Bruichladdich Distillery has launched the 14th series in it’s super heavily peated Octomore brand with a line-up consisting of Octomore 14.1, Octomore 14.2, and Octomore 14.3. A fourth expression, Octomore 14.4, will launch as a distillery exclusive in early 2024 to complete the series.
Octomore 14.1
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2017 from the 2016 harvest of 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley.
- Full term maturation in first fill ex-American whiskey barrels.
- Peated to 128.9 PPM (Parts Per Million).
- Bottled at 59.6% ABV.

Octomore 14.2
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2017 from the 2016 harvest of 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley.
- Full term maturation in a combination of first fill Oloroso hogsheads (40%), first fill Amarone casks (16%), and second fill Amarone casks (44%).
- Peated to 128.9 PPM.
- Bottled at 57.7% ABV.

Octomore 14.3
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2017 from the 2016 harvest of 100% Concerto Islay barley grown at Octomore farm.
- Full term maturation in a combination of first fill ex-American whiskey casks (50%) and second fill wine casks (50%).
- Peated to 214.2 PPM.
- Bottled at 61.4% ABV.
