Tamnavulin Distillery Launches Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Edition
Tamnavulin Distillery has announced the launch of Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Edition, a double matured single malt Scotch whisky that began life in American White Oak barrels before undergoing a second maturation in Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks.
Bottled at 40% ABV, Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Edition is described as having aromas of “green apple, banana, ripe honeydew melon, white peach, fresh citrus, jasmine, and vanilla coconut cream.” The palate exhibits notes of “lemon, grapefruit, and baked apple tart with a hint of cinnamon spice; ginger and lime biscuits.” It concludes with a “soft, sweet, and fruity” finish.
Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Edition is available now in the UK, with the US and select European markets to follow in the coming months. It carries a suggested retail price of £32.
