Westward Whiskey Announces Fourth Benefit Barrel Release

Westward Whiskey Benefit Barrel No. 4 - No Us Without You

Westward Whiskey has partnered with Transition Projects and No Us Without You to launch the fourth release in their Benefit Barrel series, which contributes 100% of proceeds to various causes that affect the community.

Sales in Oregon will benefit Portland’s Transition Projects, an agency that provides individuals with the services, resources and tools they need to end their homelessness, secure housing, and maintain that housing. Sales outside Oregon will benefit California’s No Us Without You, a public charity that provides food relief to disenfranchised hospitality workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Westward Benefit Barrel release four is a blend of two single barrels that were hand-picked by Lead Distiller & Blender Miles Munroe, who chose two casks that were barreled on the same day, but 5 years apart. Bottled at 50% ABV, Westward Benefit Barrel release four is described as having “mint, citrus, floral, chocolate, and nutty” aromas, with notes of “creamy malt, leather, candied apple, and tobacco” on the palate, concluding with “melon, hazelnut, pecan, and orange zest” on the finish.

Westward Benefit Barrel release four is priced at $99.95 for a 750 mL bottle and is available today at Westward’s tasting rooms and Oregon online store, and can be preordered via Westward’s online store for shipping to nearly 30 US states.
