Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed The Balvenie distillery’s plan to release The Balvenie DoubleWood Aged 25 Years, a limited edition bottling to mark the 25th anniversary of The Balvenie DoubleWood.

The Glenlivet appears to be planning a successor (and stateside release) to Cipher, as a label submission for The Glenlivet Code was recently discovered on the TTB website. Like it’s predecessor, it will be bottled at 48% ABV and presumably non-chill filtered.

We recently heard a rumor about Macallan having plans to re-release The Macallan Cask Strength this summer. After digging around the TTB website, we stumbled upon an entry for “The Macallan Classic Cut”, a 2017 limited edition bottled at 58.4%. All signs point to this being the bottle we’ve been hearing about, though it appears Macallan will be re-releasing it under a different name.
