Coors Whiskey Co. Unveils 8 Year Old Blended American Malt Whiskey
Coors has announced the release of Coors Whiskey Co. 8 Year Old Blended American Malt Whiskey.
Crafted using Coors’ own proprietary malt (Coors Malt) and Colorado malt, the limited release features a blend of 8 year old whiskeys and is bottled at 110.5 proof (55.25% ABV).
Official tasting notes for Coors Whiskey Co. 8 Year Old Blended American Malt Whiskey follow:
Nose: Aromas of fresh plum and crunchy cookie, fused with mouthwatering cinnamon raisin bread, cooked Granny Smith apples and dried fruit.
Palate: Succulent pear, salted melon and stone fruit coat the palate, followed by fruity, creamy, lightly smoked dark chocolate-covered cherry and rich toffee notes, before giving way to peat and spice.
Finish: Charred oak, vanilla and a dry warming spice.
