The new rotation will feature OESQ, OESF, and OBSK recipes alongside the flagship Single Barrel, OBSV. Each bottle is aged 7-9 years and presented at 100 proof (50% ABV).
Four Roses Single Barrel OESQ is crafted from Mash Bill E (20% Rye) with Floral Essence Yeast Strain (Q). It’s described as having aromas of “red berries, honey, caramel, and light oak.” The palate exhibits notes of “florals and vanilla.” It concludes with a “soft and lasting” finish.
Four Roses Single Barrel OESF is crafted from Mash Bill E (20% Rye) with Herbal Note Yeast Strain (F). It’s described as having aromas of “candied fruit, clove, oak, and creamy vanilla.” The palate exhibits notes of “light mint and soft grains.” It concludes with a “rich and mellow” finish.
Four Roses Single Barrel OBSK is crafted from Mash Bill B (35% Rye) with Sight Spice Yeast Strain (K). It’s described as having aromas of “allspice, cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon.” The palate exhibits notes of “rye spice and caramel.” It concludes with a “bright and rich” finish.
The three new Single Barrels will be available nationwide starting this May for a suggested retail price of $49.99 per bottle. They will also be available for purchase at the Four Roses Distillery Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and at the Four Roses Warehouse & Bottling Facility in Cox’s Creek, Kentucky.
