Casey Jones Distillery Launches Founder’s 10th Anniversary Blend
Casey Jones Distillery is celebrating a decade of American Whiskey and Moonshine production with the release of a limited-edition Founder’s 10th Anniversary Blend.
An homage to the distillery’s namesake and Master Distiller Arlon “AJ” Jones’ grandfather – Kentucky moonshiner Alfred “Casey” Jones – the Founder’s 10th Anniversary Edition is a blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted from 96% corn, 3% rye, and 1% malted barley, and Barrel Cut, a proprietary spirit distilled from 50% corn and 50% cane. Both spirits were distilled on AJ’s handmade square pot copper still, aged, blended, and bottled at a cask strength of 103.3 proof (51.65% ABV).
Casey Jones Founder’s 10th Anniversary Blend is described as having aromas of “sweetened brown butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and teakwood.” The palate exhibits notes of “bittersweet cherry, caramel coffee bean, a pleasant mild earthiness, and light smoke.” It concludes with a “smooth and long-lasting finish.”
Casey Jones Founder’s 10th Anniversary Blend is available exclusively at the Casey Jones Distillery in Hopkinsville, KY for $99.99 per 750 mL bottle.
