Fettercairn Distillery Announces 2024 Edition of Fettercairn 18 Year Old
The Fettercairn Distillery has announced the 2024 Edition of Fettercairn 18 Year Old.
Originally released in 2022, Fettercairn 18 Year Old is distilled from locally sourced barley, matured in first fill and refill ex-bourbon American White Oak barrels, and finished in 100% Scottish Oak before being bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at 46.8% ABV.
Fettercairn 18 Year Old is described as having aromas of “sugared almonds, baking spices, passion fruit, and guava.” The palate has notes of “exotic syruped fruits, patisserie sugars, brioche and spices, with soft hints of berry fruits,” concluding with “cacao and natural vanilla” on the finish.
Fettercairn 18 Year Old 2024 Edition rolls out to select global markets this October and carries a suggested retail price of £212.
