Bruichladdich Launches Octomore 15 Series
Bruichladdich Distillery has launched the 15th series in it’s super heavily peated Octomore brand with a line-up consisting of Octomore 15.1, Octomore 15.2, and Octomore 15.3.
Octomore 15.1
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2018 from the 2017 harvest of 100% Scottish Mainland Concerto barley.
- Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and reused and re-charred ex-bourbon casks.
- Peated to 108.2 PPM (Parts Per Million).
- Bottled at 59.1% ABV.

Octomore 15.2
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2018 from the 2017 harvest of 100% Scottish Mainland Concerto barley.
- Originally filled into a combination of second fill wine casks (42%) and second fill bourbon casks (58%) in 2018, then recasked into first fill Cognac casks in 2023.
- Peated to 108.2 PPM.
- Bottled at 57.9% ABV.

Octomore 15.3
- Matured entirely on Islay for five years.
- Distilled in 2018 from the 2017 harvest of 100% Islay grown Concerto barley from Octomore Farm.
- Full term maturation in first-fill bourbon casks (69%) and first-fill Oloroso hogsheads from Fernando de Castilla, Jerez, Spain (31%).
- Peated to 307.2 PPM.
- Bottled at 61.3% ABV.
