Jos. A. Magnus & Co. Announces Murray Hill Club Blend Special Release Batch #4

Jos. A. Magnus & Co. has announced the latest release of its Murray Hill Club Blend, Murray Hill Club Blend Special Release Batch #4.
Launched in 2017, Murray Hill Club Special Release was created by Master Blender Nancy Fraley to complement the Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend Bourbon, “highlighting the various possibilities that can be achieved through excellent liquid, meticulous blending, and unique, carefully selected finishing casks.”
Murray Hill Club Blend Special Release Batch #4 is comprised of 8 and 17 year old Bourbons distilled from a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, and finished for four months in hand-selected, fresh Calvados casks imported from the lower Normandy region of France.
Murray Hill Club Blend Special Release Batch #4 is described as sharing similar tasting notes with Batches #1 and #2. Batch #4 exhibits aromas of “apple strudel, potpourri, gingerbread cake drizzled in white icing, and old-fashioned New England apple molasses” and notes of “poached pears in ruby red Port, star anise, apple blossom honey, brown butter with cinnamon, and aged balsamic vinegar.”
Murray Hill Club Blend Special Release Batch #4 is bottled at 55% ABV and available in limited quantities at select retailers nationwide. It carries a suggested retail price of $199 per 750 mL bottle.
