Koopers Whiskey has announced the release of Father’s Office Cigar Blend Bourbon, a limited edition whiskey that combines Brazilian Amburana and Japanese Mizunara oak finishes.

Father’s Office Cigar Blend Bourbon is a two barrel blend distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley and aged for eight years in new, charred American white oak. One barrel was finished with Brazilian Amburana oak staves for seven weeks, and the other with Japanese Mizunara oak staves for twelve weeks. The barrels were then blended and bottled at 114 proof (57% ABV).

Official tasting notes for Koopers Father’s Office Cigar Blend Bourbon follow:

The nose opens with inviting aromas of cinnamon sugar, vanilla custard, sandalwood, orange peel, and cigar-box oak. The palate delivers a harmonious blend of caramel, toffee, cinnamon toast, peppery rye spice, incense, and oak. The finish is long and warming with lingering notes of toasted coconut, dark chocolate, and pipe tobacco.

Koopers Father’s Office Cigar Blend Bourbon is limited to just 378 bottles and will be available at the Koopers Whiskey Texas Tasting Room in Ledbetter, Texas on Saturday, June 13, 2026 for $84 (750 mL).
