Ardbeg Spectacular Revealed
Update: Ardbeg Spectacular launches April 2024!
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed what appears to be 2024’s Ardbeg Day release: Ardbeg Spectacular.
A distillery first, Ardbeg Spectacular has been matured in Port wine casks and ex-Bourbon barrels and is described as exhibiting notes of “smoky pear cumble, cooling menthol, incense candles, perfumed lavender, and antique leather.”
Ardbeg Spectacular will be bottled NCF (Non Chill-Filtered) and is expected to land in stores in spring 2024. Expect an official announcement with more information prior to launch.
