Bruichladdich Launches Octomore 13 Series
Bruichladdich has launched the 13th series in it’s super heavily peated Octomore brand with a line-up consisting of Octomore 13.1, Octomore 13.2, and Octomore 13.3.
Octomore 13.1
- Aged for 5 years.
- Distilled in 2016 from 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley harvested in 2015.
- Full term maturation in first fill bourbon barrels.
- Peated to 137.3 PPM (Parts Per Million).
- Bottled at 59.2% ABV.
Octomore 13.2
- Aged for 5 years.
- Distilled in 2016 from 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley harvested in 2015.
- Full term maturation in first fill Oloroso sherry butts.
- Peated to 137.3 PPM.
- Bottled at 58.3% ABV.
Octomore 13.3
- Aged for 5 years.
- Distilled in 2016 from 100% Octomore Farm grown Concerto barley harvested in 2015.
- Matured in a combination of first fill ex-American whiskey and second ex-European oak casks.
- Peated to 129.3 PPM.
- Bottled at 61.1% ABV.
All three Octomores are bottled un-chill filtered and coloring free and are available now.
