Fettercairn Launches 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Fettercairn 18 Year Old

The Fettercairn Distillery has announced the launch of Fettercairn 18 Year Old, its first ever whisky finished in locally sourced Scottish Oak.

Matured in American White Oak casks and finished in 100% Scottish Oak sourced from the Scottish Highlands, Fettercairn 18 Year Old is bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at 46.8% ABV.

Fettercairn 18 Year Old is described as having aromas of “sugared almonds, baking spices, and tropical sweetness of passion fruit and guava.” The palate has notes of “exotic syruped fruits, patisserie sugars, brioche, and spices with soft hints of berry fruits,” concluding with “soft spice, cacao, and natural vanilla” on the finish.

Fettercairn 18 Year Old rolls out to select global markets beginning in October and carries a suggested retail price of £175.
