High West Bourye 2021 Release Launches Exclusively in Utah
High West has announced the 2021 release of Bourye, a limited release blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskeys aged a minimum of 10 years. With this announcement, it has also been revealed that due to a dwindling supply of aged whiskeys, Bourye will no longer be distributed nationally and is now a Utah exclusive release.
This year’s release of High West Bourye is described as having aromas of “sweet caramel, vanilla, praline, Butterfinger filling, brown butter iced cupcakes, dark chocolate, subtle pineapple juice, and mahogany.” The palate is “complex with ripe plum, dried peach, raisin rice pudding, cinnamon streusel, and black pepper.” It concludes with “lingering spice, a handful of mixed dried fruit, and dark chocolate toffee” on the finish.
High West Bourye is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) and will be available at High West general stores in Park City and Wanship beginning Thursday, January 28th and at Utah liquor stores in February. It carries a suggested retail price of $79.99.
