Bruichladdich Launches Octomore 11 Series
Bruichladdich has launched the 11th series in it’s super heavily peated Octomore brand with a line-up consisting of Octomore 11.1, Octomore 11.2, Octomore 11.3, and Octomore Ten Years Fourth Edition.
Octomore 11.1
- 5 years old
- Distilled from 100% Scottish grown Concerto and Propino barley
- Matured in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks
- Peated to 139.6 ppm (parts per million)
- Bottled at 59.4% ABV
- Limited to 30,000 bottles
Octomore 11.2 (Online Exclusive)
- 5 years old
- Distilled from 100% Scottish grown Concerto and Propino barley
- Matured in a combination of 25% Pauillac ex-wine casks, 75% ex-American whiskey casks, then finished in St Julien wine casks for 18 months
- Peated to 139.6 ppm (parts per million)
- Bottled at 58.6% ABV
- Limited to 18,000 bottles
Octomore 11.3
- 5 years old
- Distilled from 100% Octomore Farm, Islay grown Concerto barley
- Matured in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks
- Peated to 194 ppm
- Bottled at 61.7% ABV
- Limited to 18,000 bottles
Octomore Ten Years Fourth Edition
- 10 years old
- Distilled from 100% Scottish grown Optic barley
- Matured in virgin oak and a combination of first and second-fill ex-American whiskey casks
- Peated to 208 ppm
- Bottled at 54.3% ABV
- Limited to 12,000 bottles
All four Octomores are bottled un-chill filtered and coloring free and will be available beginning October 1st.
