2019 Release of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey Arriving in Stores Next Month
Michter’s has announced a 2019 release of their limited edition Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey. The 2019 release of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash is the first in three years and will be the third in the series – the first two being the 2013 and 2016 releases, respectively.
The 2019 release of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash is a blend of whiskey “ranging in age from over a decade to over 30 years old”, taken from six barrels – two Kentucky straight bourbon barrels and four Kentucky straight rye barrels.
Bottled at 115.6 proof (57.8% ABV), Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey is limited to 277 bottles worldwide and will be available beginning in December at a suggested retail price of $5,000.
