Compass Box Flaming Heart Sixth Edition Released
Compass Box has released Flaming Heart Sixth Edition, which will again combine malt whisky aged in heavily toasted French oak barrels with heavily peated Islay malt. It will also be comprised of a small proportion of Sherry cask influenced whisky, which Compass Box has included in Flaming Heart only once before (the 2012 edition).
Bottled in June 2018, this release is limited to 15,050 standard bottles (70cL, 750mL) and, for the first time, 800 magnums (1.5L, 1.75L).
Compass Box Flaming Heart Sixth Edition is bottled at 48.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural color. It’s available now in Europe and will be available soon in the US. It carries a suggested price of £120/$150 for a 70cl/750ml bottle, and £250/$330 for a 1.5L/1.75L bottle, respectively.
