Johnnie Walker Teases Game of Thrones Inspired White Walker Blended Scotch Whisky
Last week, Johnnie Walker tweeted a video teasing the release of White Walker, a limited edition, Game of Thrones inspired blended Scotch whisky. Unfortunately, that’s all it was – a tease. They didn’t divulge whether it would be a repackaged product from their existing portfolio or an original blend.
Thanks to labels submitted to the TTB, we now have new information about the whisky that will be in the bottle. White Walker by Johnnie Walker will feature single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish at the heart of the blend, which will be chill filtered and bottled at 41.7% ABV, indicating the whisky will be an original blend.
The label states that White Walker is “best served cold directly from the freezer” and describes it as “featuring notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla, fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit”, going on to mention that the “whisky develops in complexity as it warms to room temperature.”
White Walker by Johnnie Walker will be released this fall.
