Compass Box Flaming Heart Sixth Edition Leaked Through TTB Submission
A recent TTB submission has revealed plans for a sixth release in the Compass Box Flaming Heart series. Per the back label, Flaming Heart Sixth Edition will again combine malt whisky aged in heavily toasted French oak barrels with heavily peated Islay malt. It will also include a small proportion of Sherry cask influenced whisky, which Compass Box has included in Flaming Heart only once before (2012 edition).
This release will be limited to 15,050 bottles (750ML, 70CL) and 800 magnums (1.5L), to be bottled in June 2018 and likely released to stores soon after. Expect an official announcement with more information, including the Flaming Heart Sixth Edition recipe, pricing, and release date, soon.
