Tobermory Distillery Launches Ledaig Castaway
Tobermory Distillery has unveiled Ledaig Castaway, a limited-edition peated single malt matured in Caribbean rum and tequila casks.
Ledaig Castaway is presented without an age statement and is bottled at 61.1% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “coastal peat smoke, caramelised banana, lime zest, and vanilla.” The palate exhibits flavors of “grilled pineapple, brine, herbal agave, black pepper, and toffee.” The finish is “long and warming, with peat smoke, demerara sweetness, and citrus.”
Ledaig Castaway is now available globally at select retailers and via Tobermory Distillery for a recommended retail price of £65 (70 cL).
