Tamnavulin Announces 25 Year Old Diamond Anniversary Limited Edition
Tamnavulin Distillery has announced the release of Tamnavulin 25 Year Old Diamond Anniversary Limited Edition.
The 60th anniversary release was distilled in 2000 after a 12 year closure of the stills. It was matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in a single Moscatel cask, then bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at a cask strength of 51.8% ABV.
Tamnavulin 25 Year Old Diamond Anniversary Limited Edition is described as having aromas of “poached pear, creamy custard, and a hint of balsamic.” The palate exhibits notes of “dark chocolate-covered raisins, bright citrus, and heather honey.” It finishes with “mandarin roasted hazelnut and chocolate caramel ganache.”
Tamnavulin 25 Year Old Diamond Anniversary Limited Edition is limited to only 290 bottles globally and is available at specialist shops and the distillery shop during the Spirit of Speyside celebrations.
