Old Forester Releases Fourth Annual King Ranch Limited Edition Bourbon
Old Forester and King Ranch have announced the release of the fourth annual batch of their limited edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, Old Forester King Ranch.
Bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV) from a proprietary batch of Old Forester Bourbon using heavily charred barrels, the bourbon is finished through King Ranch mesquite charcoal created from mesquite trees harvested from the ranch.
Old Forester King Ranch is described as having aromas of “dried cherries, cranberries, toasted pecans, and marshmallows drizzled with sorghum molasses,” flavors of “sweet dark chocolate, tobacco, leather spices, toasted and caramelized oak, and nut character” on the palate, and a “long and warming” finish.
The 2025 edition of Old Forester King Ranch has a refreshed label with an illustration that features the legendary King Ranch Quarter Horse Peppy San Badger and his renowned trainer Buster Welch.
Old Forester King Ranch is available only in Texas and carries a suggested retail price of $99.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
