Coppercraft Distillery Releases Bourbons Finished in Rum Casks and Toasted Barrels
Coppercraft Distillery has announced two new releases: Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Rum Casks and Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Toasted Barrels.
Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Rum Casks is aged for 7 years in charred new American oak, then finished in Caribbean rum casks for 12 months and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). It’s described as exhibiting “rich layers of dark sugar, warm oak spice, and tropical fruit.”
Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Toasted Barrels is aged for 7 years in charred new American oak, then finished in slow heat toasted barrels for an additional 12 months and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). It’s described as exhibiting “rich layers of caramel, toasted marshmallow, and warm spice.”
Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Rum Casks and Coppercraft Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Toasted Barrels are available now for a suggested retail price of $54.98 each.
