Barrell Craft Spirits Announces Foundation Single Barrels

Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS) has unveiled its Foundation Bourbon Single Barrels, a new line of microblended bourbons that underwent a secondary maturation process.
Each Foundation Single Barrel began with a selection of two Indiana 5 year old barrels that were used to create a distinct microbatch. These blends were then re-barreled and returned to some of the most desirable locations within the BCS rickhouse for extended aging.
In a first for the brand, the rick number will be prominently featured on each label, highlighting the specific maturation environment and reinforcing the influence of place and position within the rickhouse.
The Foundation Single Barrels are produced in small, low-yield batches that are planned and built in phases of approximately 40 at a time. The first 40 barrels are named the Founder’s Series and are rolling out now to retailers in select markets.
