Penelope Bourbon Unveils 2025 Estate Collection

Penelope Bourbon has unveiled its 2025 Estate Collection, featuring five limited edition whiskeys spanning four expressions: Founders Reserve, Omega, Private Select, and Single Barrel.
Penelope Founders Reserve 13 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey:
The single lot of 2025 Founders Reserve features a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley and is bottled at cask strength at 121.4 proof (60.7% ABV). It’s described as having aromas of “rich caramel, vanilla, faint hints of tobacco, and candied fruit.” The palate exhibits flavors of “toasted nuts, graham cracker, sweet oak, butterscotch, and dark fruit.” It finishes with “lingering spice, caramel sweetness, and black pepper spice.”
The 2025 Founders Reserve is limited to approximately 11,100 bottles and carries a suggested retail price of $199.99.
Penelope Omega 11 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey:
After 11 years of maturation, this straight bourbon whiskey was finished for an additional year in Radoux Omega French Oak barrels crafted with rare, tight-grain oak and a meticulously designed toast profile.
Radoux Cooperage pioneered OakScan technology to scientifically select staves with the exact chemical composition needed to achieve the desired flavor profile.
Omega features a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley and is bottled at 109.8 proof (54.9% ABV). It’s described as having aromas of “warm vanilla, honey, toffee, and allspice,” flavors of “brown sugar, dark fruit, leather, and cocoa,” and a finish of “sweet spice, cinnamon gum, and buttery sweet nougat.”
Omega is limited to 10,800 bottles and carries a suggested retail price of $129.99.
Penelope Single Barrel 10 Year Bourbon:
The 2025 Single Barrel offerings feature two different mash bills and proof points:
The first Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey features a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley and is bottled at 99 proof (49.5% ABV). It’s described as having aromas of “vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, and plum,” flavors of “caramel, butter toffee, wild cherry candy, and light rye spice,” and a finish of “cinnamon, frosting, and lingering spice.” Limited to 3,900 bottles with a suggested retail price of $89.99.
The second Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey features a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley and is bottled at 103 proof (51.5% ABV). It’s described as having aromas of “caramel, vanilla, and graham cracker,” followed by flavors of “apricot, vanilla, and light chocolate,” and a “long rye spice finish with notes of vanilla custard and roasted nuts.” Limited to 7,200 bottles with a suggested retail price of $89.99.
Penelope Private Select 10 Year Bourbon:
A blended bourbon created from barrel stocks aged 10 years, the 2025 Private Select features a mash bill of 74% corn, 20% rye, 1% wheat, and 5% malted barley and is bottled at 106.8 proof (53.4% ABV). The 2025 Private Select is described has having aromas of “rich caramel, cinnamon and red fruits,” flavors of “caramel, brown sugar, cherry and baking spice,” and a “vanilla honey bun finish with notes of oak spice and light smoke.”
The 2025 Private Select is limited to 41,400 bottles and carries a suggested retail price of $79.99.
The Penelope Bourbon 2025 Estate Collection will be available this September in select markets, with first access to the entire collection exclusively at Lux Row Distillers beginning Friday, September 5th at 9:00 a.m. EST.
