Wheel Horse Whiskey Launches Barrel Master Select Series
Wheel Horse Whiskey has unveiled its Barrel Master Select series — the brand’s first foray into barrel proof small batch whiskey.
Distilled at the Green River Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky and crafted by Barrel Master Stephen Corrigan, Batch 1 is a blend of twelve hand-selected barrels of 5–6 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, bottled without chill filtration at 112.6 proof (56.3% ABV).
Wheel Horse Barrel Master Select Batch 1 is described as having aromas of “cherry, mocha, and warm spice.” The palate exhibits notes of “toffee, vanilla, and café au lait,” concluding with “a warm, lingering finish of toasted walnut, burnt sugar, and Black Forest cake.”
Limited to just 2,100 bottles, Wheel Horse Barrel Master Select Batch 1 is now available at retail locations in select markets and online at wheelhorsewhiskey.com. It carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.
