Glen Moray has unveiled the Smoky 12 Year Old, the distillery’s first fully peated, aged single malt. The new release is the latest addition to the distillery’s recently refreshed Heritage range, joining the 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old, and 18 Year Old expressions.

Glen Moray Smoky 12 Year Old is matured in a combination of American and European oak casks and is bottled at 46.3% ABV and non-chill filtered. It’s described as having aromas of “gentle smoke intertwined with orchard fruits and vanilla.” The palate exhibits flavors of “caramelized apples and baked plums that blend seamlessly with a touch of peat, delivering a beautifully balanced experience.” The finish is “long and transitions from luscious fruity notes to smoky embers and oak tannins.”

Glen Moray Smoky 12 Year Old is available now at the Glen Moray distillery and will be rolling out to retailers worldwide throughout the year. It carries a recommended retail price of £49.99.
