Old Potrero Announces 2025 Release of Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey

San Francisco’s Hotaling & Co. has announced the 2025 release of Old Potrero Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey. The release celebrates the survival of A.P. Hotaling’s whiskey warehouse on the 119th Anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
The 2025 release of Old Potrero Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey is pot-distilled from 100% malted rye and aged in once-used, charred fine-grain, American oak Old Potrero barrels for 13 years. This year’s expression comes in a commemorative box with an Old Potrero metal bottle topper.
Bottled at 50% ABV, Old Potrero Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “citrus, baking spice, and sandal wood.” The palate is “sweet upon entry, with soft stone fruit, hint of peppercorn, and creamy spice.” It concludes with a “orange flower water, delicate rye spice, and black tea.”
Limited to only 431 bottles, Old Potrero Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey is available now at a suggested retail price of $199 for a 700 mL bottle.
