A. Smith Bowman Releases Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #4
A. Smith Bowman Distillery has announced the release of A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #4.
The fourth release of A. Smith Bowman’s annual cask strength offering is a marriage of barrels aged a minimum of 10 years, hand-selected by Distiller David Bock and bottled uncut and non-chill filtered at 139.7 proof (69.85% ABV).
A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #4 is described as having aromas of “leather, plums, and a hint of apple,” with “soft raspberry chocolate, rich stone fruit, and a little cinnamon” on the palate, concluding with a “crisp note of apple” on the finish.
A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #4 will be available in select markets in the United States, as well as through the A. Smith Bowman Distillery gift shop via online lottery. The lottery will open on February 24, 2025 at noon EST and closes on March 3, 2025 at noon EST. The lottery is open nationwide, but winners must be able to purchase bottles in-person at the A. Smith Bowman gift shop. A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #4 carries a suggested retail price of $99.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
