High West Announces 2025 Release of High Country American Single Malt

High West Distillery has announced the 2025 release of High West High Country American Single Malt Whiskey.
This year’s release of High West High Country is a marriage of 4-8 year old 100% copper pot-distilled whiskies produced from a mash bill of 85% base malt, 14% caramel 60 malt, and 1% chocolate malt. It was aged in used and new charred white American oak barrels, with a portion finished in French oak Ruby Port, Oloroso Sherry, and PX Sherry barrels.
Bottled at 44% ABV, the 2025 release of High West High Country is described as having aromas of “wildflower honey, golden raisins, lemon peel, chamomile, sourdough French toast, roasted Brazil nuts, and mossy wooden bridge over a babbling brook.” The palate exhibits “rich layered toffee notes, ripe cantaloupe, graham cracker, crème caramel, dried hay, puffed cereal, cocoa nibs, and leather.” It concludes with “fresh-picked kumquats and maple pecan pie” on the finish.
High West High Country is available now at the High West General Store in Old Town Park City, High West Distillery on Blue Sky Ranch in Wanship, and Utah state liquor stores for a suggested retail price of $79.99.
