Penelope Bourbon Announces Penelope Havana

Penelope Bourbon has announced the latest limited edition in its Cooper Series of cask finished whiskeys: Penelope Havana.
To create Penelope Havana, a straight Bourbon whiskey produced from a blended four-grain mash bill (74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye, and 3% malted barley) was finished for 12 months in Caribbean rum casks and one month in maple syrup barrels. The casks for the second finish were first used to age Penelope Bourbon, then were repurposed to age maple syrup, before being used for Havana’s second finish. Havana is presented non-chill filtered and bottled at 93 proof (46.5% ABV).
Penelope Havana is described as having aromas of “molasses, banana bread, and rich maple,” a palate of “robust caramel corn, charred oak, and candied pecans,” and a finish of “lingering vanilla, brown sugar, and syrup with hints of mellow tobacco and spice.”
Penelope Havana is limited to 27,000 bottles and will be available beginning this month for a suggested retail price of $79.99.

In which city and states was it it will Havana be released?
I know of a small amount received by a few stores in North Texas on Dec 31st.
It’s a nationwide release, but it may take some time for it to reach all stores. Try using Wine-Searcher or 1000 Corks to find a bottle locally or a store that can ship to you.
When will the Havana be put out for consumers again. I would love to buy one?
A new batch will probably be released this winter. Stay tuned!
