InchDairnie Distillery Announces Distillery Expansion
InchDairnie Distillery has announced a major infrastructure investment that will enable it to double its whisky production.
The InchDairnie Distillery’s expansion includes two new additional stills and four on-site warehouses, with land secured for a further fourteen, plus three new washbacks to support its 24/7 production.
These developments will enable it to increase its capacity from two to four million liters of alcohol per year, and prepare it for switching from natural gas to 100% green hydrogen for distillation. The conversion to green hydrogen from natural gas is set to reduce the carbon footprint of the distillery by an estimated 35%.
