Tamnavulin Unveils Port Cask Edition
Tamnavulin Distillery has unveiled Tamnavulin Port Cask Edition, a new addition to its core range.
Tamanvulin Port Cask Edition was first matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished in casks which previously held Tawny Port wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley.
Bottled at 40% ABV, Tamnavulin Port Cask Edition is described as having aromas of “ripe red berries, plums, dark chocolate, rose syrup, sweet biscuit, and spiced orange,” followed by flavors of “honeyed poached pears, berry compote, dried fruits, and creamy caramel with a nutty finish.”
Tamnavulin Port Cask Edition is now available in the UK and Sweden in 70 cL format for a recommended retail price of £35 / 329 kr.
