Jura Announces Perspective No. 01
Jura has announced the launch of Perspective No. 01, the first release in a new limited edition series.
Jura Perspective No. 01 was inspired by an old favorite of the distillery team, Jura Diurachs’ Own. The team have taken what was loved best from the distillery favorite and added their own stamp to create a whisky which is inspired by the whisky makers who came before, but which represents Jura’s house style today. The result is Jura Perspective No. 01, a 16 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, bottled of natural colour, non-chill-filtered, and presented at 46.5% ABV.
Jura Perspective No. 01 is described as exhibiting “notes of stone fruit, dried citrus, and toasted walnut interwoven with salted toffee and delicate coastal notes, as well as white peach, wildflower honey, and citrus oil, alongside subtle hints of cassia and cacao nib.”
Jura Perspective No. 01 is now available in the UK, France and select European markets, and select Asian markets for a recommended retail price of £70.
