Jura Launches Fèis Ìle 2024 Exclusive Release
Jura has announced a new limited edition release to celebrate this year’s Fèis Ìle, also known as The Islay Festival.
Jura Distillery Cask Fèis Ìle 2024 is a 2008 vintage single malt Scotch whisky matured in Cask No. 1605, a first fill Bourbon cask, for 15 years.
Bottled at a cask strength of 55.5% ABV, Jura Distillery Cask Fèis Ìle 2024 is described as having “fruity, mineral, and oily” aromas “with citrus peels, peach, and toasted cereal.” The palate is “true to the nose, with peach crumble, vanilla pod, and preserved lemon,” concluding with “subtle mineral notes together with gorse flower, spearmint, and Williams pear” on the finish.
Jura Distillery Cask Fèis Ìle 2024 is limited to less than 200 bottles and will available exclusively at the Jura distillery beginning May 31, 2024 at a recommended retail price of £120 for a 70 cL bottle.
