Rosebank Launches Legacy Release Three
Rosebank Distillery has unveiled the third and final expression in its Legacy Series: a 32 year old single malt which has been created from a selection of rare casks left prior to the distillery’s closure 30 years ago.
Official tasting notes for Rosebank 32 Year Old – Legacy Release Three follow:
Nose: Elegant and balanced, boiled sweeties, pineapple cubes, dried apricot, gentle oak, candied ginger, lemon drizzle, marzipan, hints of white pepper and café latte.
Palate: Velvet mouthfeel with good body, hints of malt, thyme, butterscotch, tropical fruits, drying oak and softly warming spice.
Finish: Soft and long with lemon, honeyed porridge and toasted walnut.
Rosebank 32 Year Old – Legacy Release Three is bottled at 47.6% ABV and is now available for purchase at rosebank.com for £2,100 for a 70 cL bottle.
