GlenAllachie Releases 30 Year Old Batch 4
The GlenAllachie Distillers Company has announced the launch of The GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Batch 4.
The GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Batch 4 was created from three Pedro Ximénez Sherry and two Oloroso casks that were handpicked by Master Distiller Billy Walker, before being married and bottled at a cask strength of 49.1% ABV, without added coloring or chill filtration.
The GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Batch 4 is described as having aromas of “dark chocolate, honeycomb and raisin butter, with hints of muscovado sugar, plum syrup and glazed almonds.” The palate exhibits notes of “rich cocoa, heather honey and chocolate raisins, followed by baking spices and molasses, with notes of Black Forest gâteau, grape must and orchard fruits.”
