Port of Leith Distillery Starts Production
Port of Leith Distillery, which opened its doors in October 2023, has announced the start of production.
Port of Leith’s first new make spirit was distilled last week, and will be experimented with over the coming months to develop a desired profile for its future whisky.
To coincide with the start of production, the distillery has launched a program called the Port of Leith Quality Control Division. Members will receive annual samples from maturing casks (and other perks) through the year 2030, allowing them to be part of the distillery’s journey from new make spirit to single malt Scotch whisky.
