Wolf Spirit Launches Puncher’s Chance The Unified Belt

Wolf Spirit’s Puncher’s Chance Bourbon has announced the fifth release in its whiskey portfolio: Puncher’s Chance The Unified Belt, a limited edition three-cask blend of Bourbon and Irish whiskey.
Puncher’s Chance The Unified Belt is produced with barrels sourced by IJW Whiskey Company of Louisville, KY and crafted by IJW Master Blender Steven Hughes. The three-cask blend of Bourbon and Irish whiskey is composed of:
- A 4 year old high-rye mash (70% corn, 20% rye, 10% malt) Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled with a proprietary yeast and aged in barrels featuring a #4 alligator char, aged at a traditional rickhouse in Danville, KY.
- A 4 year old Irish whiskey crafted from 100% malted barley and proprietary yeast, aged in ex-Bourbon barrels in a palletized warehouse in Ireland.
- A 14 year old Bourbon distilled from a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 10% malt, finished in first-fill Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks for up to 15 months.
Bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV), Puncher’s Chance The Unified Belt is described as exhibiting notes of “dark fruit, orchard fruit and cocoa, balanced with layers of warm oak and baking spice,” concluding with a “long finish with hints of vanilla and baked green apples.”
Puncher’s Chance The Unified Belt is available at retailers nationwide and online at ourwolfspirit.com for a suggested retail price of $149.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
