Wolves Whiskey Launches Winter Run Batch 3
Wolves Whiskey has announced Winter Run Batch 3, a limited edition blend of rye and hop-infused whiskey.
Distilled in California by 13th generation distiller Marko Karakasevic, Wolves Winter Run Batch 3 is blended from a 2017 whisky distilled from a pilsner and aged in French Oak, a 2015 whisky distilled from a pilsner and aged in American Oak (Char 3), a 2013 whisky distilled from a Stout and aged in French Oak, and a 2015 Rye Whiskey.
Bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV), Wolves Winter Run Batch 3 is described as having aromas of “cinnamon apples, honey, orange, black cherry, and dark chocolate.” The palate exhibits notes of “hops, molasses, baking spices, citrus, and milk chocolate,” concluding with “medium-warm body, rising spice, and stone fruit” on the finish.
Each bottle of Wolves Winter Run Batch 3 is wrapped by hand in an Italian Grey Nubuck label and presented in a custom-made French-cut glass bottle.
Wolves Winter Run Batch 3 is available now at wolveswhiskeyca.com for $220 per 750 mL bottle. In addition to Winter Run Batch 3, Wolves Whiskey has also released an additional allocation of Wolves Lot Two American Single Malt.
