Laphroaig Elements 2.0 Revealed

Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Laphroaig Elements 2.0.
The second entry in the Laphroaig Elements series explores the impact that extended fermentation time has on flavor. Fermented for 115 hours – over twice the normal time for Laphroaig – and bottled at 59.6% ABV, Laphroaig Elements 2.0 is described as exhibiting “sweeter fruit notes and a softer peated style, with the warm smokiness of Laphroaig’s Islay single malt”.
Expect an official announcement with suggested pricing, release date, and more information prior to launch.
