Douglas Laing Releases 2023 Scallywag Winter Edition
Douglas Laing has unveiled the 2023 release of Scallywag Winter Edition, it’s seasonal limited edition Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.
The fourth release in the series has been 100% sherry cask matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry butts and bottled without coloring or chill-filtration at a natural cask strength of 52.5% ABV.
Scallywag Winter Edition 2023 is described as having notes of “warm gingerbread, spiced oak, and orange rind on the nose and a mouthwatering taste of dates with forest fruits and winter spice on the long finish.”
