GlenAllachie Releases 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10
The GlenAllachie Distillery has announced the launch of The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10.
GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10 is a marriage of whiskies matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine, and American virgin oak casks, bottled un-chill filtered and with no added coloring at 58.6% ABV.
GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10 is described as having aromas of “honeycomb, orange zest, treacle, fig syrup, mocha, poached orchard fruits, cinnamon, and butterscotch.” The palate exhibits notes of “cocoa, heather honey, baking spices, dried red berries, and Black Forest gâteau,” concluding with “maraschino cherries and anise” on the finish.
GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10 will be available beginning this month at a recommended retail price of £71.
