Lagg Distillery Launches LAGG Corriecravie Edition
Lagg Distillery has announced the launch of LAGG Corriecravie Edition, the second expression to join the brand’s core range.
Distilled from Concerto malted barley, LAGG Corriecravie Edition is matured in bourbon barrels and finished for approximately 6 months in Oloroso sherry hogsheads sourced from producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. LAGG Corriecravie Edition is bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration and with no added coloring.
LAGG Corriecravie Edition is described as having aromas of “dark chocolate and spiced red berries.” The palate is “rich and mouth watering” with notes of “charred embers and hazelnut,” concluding with “charred oak, smoke, hazelnut, dark chocolate, and sweet spice” on the finish.
LAGG Corriecravie Edition is bottled in limited quantities once a year and is available now at a recommended retail price of £54.16 for a 70 cL bottle.
