Still Austin Whiskey Co. Launches Cask Strength Rye Whiskey

Still Austin Whiskey Co. has announced the launch of Still Austin Cask Strength Rye Whiskey, a cask strength version of Still Austin’s The Artist Straight Rye Whiskey.
Distilled from 100% Texas-grown rye, Still Austin Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is aged at least 2 years and bottled at 58% ABV (116 proof).
Still Austin Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “cherry cobbler with a buttery cinnamon crust, candied ginger and lemon peels, and apricot streusel coffee cake.” The palate exhibits notes of “grilled peaches with mint ice cream, apple and marzipan dumplings, and gingerbread cookies with lemon zest.” It concludes with a “long, spicy finish evoking sensations of baking spices in brown butter, muddled cherries, and mint leaves.”
The bottle’s custom artwork was created by Austin-local artist, Marc Burckhardt, and is a rendition of the artwork seen on The Artist Straight Rye Whiskey bottle, but now with an added dark night sky to emphasize this as a darker, stronger version of the original.
Still Austin Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is available now for a suggested retail price of $65.
