Laphroaig Elements 1.0 Revealed
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Laphroaig Elements, a new series of whiskies “revealing new dimensions of Laphroaig.”
The first release in the series, Laphroaig Elements 1.0, explores experimentation with mashing and fermentation styles. Using two types of wort and mashing in old and new style tuns has resulted in a single malt with greater tropical fruit notes, without losing any of Laphroaig’s signature phenolic and maritime peatiness.
Laphroaig Elements 1.0 will be bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 58.6% ABV.
Expect an official announcement with suggested pricing, release date, and more information prior to launch.
