GlenAllachie Releases 21 Year Old Batch 3
The GlenAllachie Distillery has announced the launch of The GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 3.
GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 3 is a marriage of whiskies matured in three vintage Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons, bottled without added coloring or chill filtration at a cask strength of 51.5% ABV.
GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 3 is described as having aromas of “black grapes, raisins, and dark chocolate orange, with hints of coffee, stewed fruits, and treacle syrup.” The palate exhibits notes of “heather honey, cocoa dusted truffles, sultanas, espresso coffee, mixed currants, and brandy butter,” concluding with “gingersnaps” on the finish.
GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 3 will be available beginning this month at a suggested retail price of £275.
