Ardbeg BizarreBQ Revealed
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Ardbeg BizarreBQ, a limited edition, barbecue-inspired single malt Scotch whisky created in collaboration with Christian Stevenson (AKA DJ BBQ).
The back label indicates that Ardbeg BizarreBQ has been matured in a combination of double charred oak casks, Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, and experimental BBQ casks (oak toasted over a brazier packed with seaweed and birchwood).
Ardbeg BizarreBQ will be bottled at 50.9% ABV and is described as having notes of “hickory smoked ham, grilled artichokes, flamed steak, and cinnamon dusted espresso.”
Expect an official announcement with more information, including pricing, release date, and availability, prior to launch.
