Lagavulin Launches Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask

Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Charred Oak Cask

Lagavulin and celebrity Nick Offerman have partnered to launch Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Charred Oak Cask, the third limited edition single malt Scotch whisky created collaboratively by Offerman and Lagavulin.

Lagvulin and Offerman first partnered on the ex-Bourbon matured Lagavulin Offerman Edition Aged 11 Years, released in 2019, followed by Lagavulin Offerman Edition Finished in Guinness Casks, launched in 2021.

Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Charred Oak Cask has been fully matured in re-charred American and European oak butts, hogsheads, and barrels for a minimum of 11 years. Bottled at 46% ABV, Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Charred Oak Cask is described as having aromas of “peat, chocolate, and red berries,” with notes of “peat, wood, spice, cocoa, and sweet berries” on the palate, concluding with a “warm, lingering, spicy” finish.

Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Charred Oak Cask will be available at stores beginning this month and carries a suggested retail price of $79.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
